Hello,

I have installed rspec, and I can run tests from IDE. But I do NOT see rspec generators in Generator dropdown (rspec, rspec_model, ...).

The rake task are also missed in "Run/Debug Rake Task" dialog.

I have seen generators on this video
http://netbeans.tv/screencasts/Nick-Sieger-Uses-RSpec-with-the-NetBeans-Ruby-Support-305/

What may be wrong? I'm using NetBeans 6.5 rc1

Thank you,
- Alex

I think that to get the RSpec generators, you have to install the plugin
into your project.

Thank you, Chris, for a such quick response. Btw, can you give more information about this plugin?

If found this post
http://edgenic.com/2007/11/09/graphic-guide-to-rails-on-netbeans-rspec-and-autotest-from-scratch/
but the provided svn link is not working for me.

Also, seems the plugins are no longer required for development. Why Netbeans whould need it?

Solved...

Rspec-1.1.11 and rspec-rails-1.1.11 gems are plugins by themselves. So just copied them into myapp/vendor/plugins.

Now every thing is accessible from Netbeans.
