I have an C++ exsiting project with CMakeList.txt. I want to debug it in Netbeans.
I created an New Project, chose option "C/C++: C/C++ Project with Existing Sources". After clicking Next, I chose the folder with your source files and CMakeList.txt file. For the "Select Configuration Mode", chose the Automatic radio button. Then I can build the project and run it. So far it is Ok.

However, when I want to debug the code step by step, Netbeans does not allow me to do it. How can I fix it? Thanks!

Hello,

Does debugger provides any error message?
You can try to set path to your binary in project
Properties->Build->Make page Build Result field.

Hope it helps,
Vladimir.
