Hi,

I'm interested to create a new kind of netbeans project template that would be a sort of extension of a C++ project.

I've already noticed the tutorial at https://platform.netbeans.org/tutorials/nbm-projecttype.html which gives very good basics to what I want to achieve.

However, the problem is that whenever opening the files of those projects, there is no support of c/c++ whatsoever. i.e. no syntax highlight, no code completion, no possibility to debug, etc...

My question is, what is the best path forward to have my own project type, but enhanced with all the nice features of the c/c++ plugin.

Could anybody give me hints and pointer on how I could achieve this?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Kind regards,

Laurent Carlier
