Hello everyone,

=== The problem:
Compilation error (whole message see below), simple C/C++ program.

=== My background:
This is the first time that I'm programming in C/C++ on NetBeans. When it comes to Linux I know some basics e.g. chmod and using emacs, but don't ask me about configuring "make" or CygWin itself. So here I am a bit lost at how/where to look for in the man pages.

=== Installation pipeline so far:

1) Installed NetBeans 8.2
2) Activated C/C++ in NetBeans.
3) Installed Min-GW/CygWin. (default packages)

Tried to compile. Failure as CygWins "make" wasn't installed. (NetBeans had instead chosen "make" from my Free Pascal installation...^^)

4) Installed the four packages containing "make" in their name, contained in CygWins Devel section.
5) Configured NetBeans: Set the path to make.exe in CygWins /bin.

=== Error message begin

cd 'D:\Programming\CPPProjects\SolveFirst'
C:\cygwin64\bin\make.exe -f Makefile CONF=Debug
"/C/cygwin64/bin/make.exe" -f nbproject/Makefile-Debug.mk QMAKE= SUBPROJECTS= .build-conf
/bin/sh: /C/cygwin64/bin/make.exe: No such file or directory
make: *** [nbproject/Makefile-impl.mk:40: .build-impl] Error 127

BUILD FAILED (exit value 2, total time: 591ms)

=== Error message end

Now, I understand that this is related to the way paths are addressed in Windows versus Linux but just was to blind to find out how and where to change the configuration (of make?) so that the proper path would be used.

Thanks in advance.
