A team of students at UMUC are developing an R Plugin for Netbeans. We wanted to poll the community to determine which features the plugin should have. Any opinions, comments, and questions are appreciated.

Great. Passed this mail on to a few people I know in Oracle interested
in R support in NetBeans!

Plus, this would be nice in the context of a new feature in Apache
NetBeans. :-)

Constantin was working on a R plugin some time back.  He may have some ideas to share IMO.

We at rosettaHub.com are developing a multi cloud collaborative Data science platform with many calculation engines including R. We would love to integrate with a NetBeans R plugin in such a way to deploy/run the script from NetBeans on the provisioned cluster. We already have R and Java SDK's.
