Bare with me, I'm fairly new to both JSF and Facelets.

I started messing with JSF in Netbeans 6.5 and the WYSIWYG "drag and drop" design interface of the "Visual web javaserver faces" environment is great (having spent the last 10 years mostly doing VB this feels like home).

However, this is great for building the forms and things, but what about the rest of the webpage? Like title bars, navigation bars, footers, etc?

So, Facelets looked like just what I was looking for.

So, now my question is, can I combine "Visual Web Javaserver Faces" and Facelets? Can I build my forms in the graphical development environment and use them as content in facelet templates?

If so, how?

From the little bit of reading I've done on facelets, everyone says they should be used instead of JSP, but the "Visual Web JavaServer Faces" module for netbean generates JSP... so can they co-exit or not and if so how?

Thanks in advance,
Tom Malia
