I have installed NetBeans to work with Ruby on Rails projects, but when I create a new project and right click on it >generate nothng happens where as a window should appear to let me choose to start making Scaffold, models .. etc .I am working on windows XP and I have Rails 2.2. and RubyGems 1.1.5 I hope you can help me with this asap with my thanks

What version of the JDK/JRE are you using. It might be because of some
issue with JDK 6u12. See

If you have more than one JDK version on your system, try pointing to
different versions. Instructions here:

You may want to upgrade to RubyGems 1.3.1 since that is the latest release.
I am not on Windows machine anymore so I cannot verify for sure.

The other option is to use a dev build
(http://bits.netbeans.org/dev/nightly/latest/) or the upcoming 6.7 M2.
The fixes for this will be backported to 6.5 too, but it will take some
time. The change they did in 6u12 broke a lot of functionality in the
IDE, so if you're not willing to use daily builds I'd really recommend
to downgrade to 6u11 until the next patch for 6.5 (which include the
fixes) is available.
