Hi, I am a new user of NetBeans, I have just installed it and I just registered here on the support forum Smile

I hope this is the right section to ask for your help...

I need your help because I do not know how to install xdebug and how to configure it to use it with NetBeans..

I tried some guides that I found on internet but I did not go far...

Using phpinfo() I can see that apache is build with Zen Framework and xdebug (I attached an image) but when I try to debug with NetBeans it doesn't work, it opens my project on the browser and still loading..

I edited the php.ini file with these settings, I don't know if I did it in the right way, here the file:

Code:

zend_extension="/opt/lampp/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20121212/xdebug.so"

xdebug.profiler_enable = On
xdebug.remote_enable=On
xdebug.remote_host="192.168.1.102"
xdebug.remote_port=10000
xdebug.remote_handler="dbgp"

Thanks in advance for the help Smile

Hi, Nube!
Please take a look on the chapter "Installing and Configuring Xdebug" at http://www.devdrops.me/2015/05/06/xdebug-netbeans-and-vagrant/ for tips on this subject. The tutorial aims for a solution on how to configure access to Xdebug through Vagrant but the chapter regarding the install and settings for Xdebug may be suitable for your needs.
Sincerely,

Thanks for the reply,

I have read the documentation, unfortunatly it seems that I need some more steps as I miss some parameters and components in my lampp installation.. I will go further and tell you how it evolves Smile

For the moment thank you Smile
