Hi guys,

it looks like a stupid question but ... how to install "bin" plugins? I don't see them from "upload" section, in plugin manager, I cannot "import" from general settings ... so, how can I install plugins as bin file?

tks

just as an example, you can see the .gitignore plugin:

http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/50356/gitignore-io

you download a file with extension ".bin"

Thanks!

Hi, when I click on the "Download" button in the link you provided I get a file with ".nbm" extension (1486961566_com-junichi11-netbeans-gitignoreio-0.3.0.nbm).

To install manually a plugin of this type you need to download it, then go to "Tools -> Plugins", select the "Downloaded" tab then click on the "Add plugins" button and select the downloaded file.

Regards,

Paolo

Incredible!! ... if I try to download, I get this file:

1486961566_com-junichi11-netbeans-gitignoreio-0.3.0.bin

but I finally see that my stupid file manager, dolphin, has a feature that "automatically add filename extension ( .bin )" enabled, and it change the extension to ".bin" on its own!!!

I have delesected that flag and finally I got the nbm file, as expected!

Thanks!!
