Hi,

I was wondering if there is a way to turn off PIC code generation in a shared library project.

Apparently, -fPIC comes with the choice to build a shared library. It wouldn't be a problem if I didn't need to link against a static library that hasn't been compiled as PIC and, so far, the most viable alternative is to tamper with nbproject/Makefile-${CONF}.mk because the flag is already there.

I welcome suggestions.

Regards,

Paulo.
