Hi,
I'm new here. I try Netbeans because my friend tell me that's the best IDE for Java. Yes, I agree with him.
But I don't study only Java, I study C++ at my University, too. I'm now using Dev C++ and Visual C++ express .Net.
MS Visual C++ help me design GUI really easy( just like Netbeans with Java).
But why Netbeans doesn't help me design GUI with C++ ?

Which GUI toolkit do you plan to use?
Although NB doesn't provide embedded GUI designer (like Matisse for
Java), in 6.7 there is support for Qt and Gtk applications. But again,
you will use external GUI designers in both cases.

Thanks,
Vladimir.

Hi,

NetBeans 6.7 will support Qt, which means it'll be possible to use Qt
Designer for visual form creation. In fact you can already try Qt
support in development versions, e.g. NetBeans 6.7m3.

More about Qt: http://www.qtsoftware.com/products/appdev.

Thanks,
Alexey
