|
|
I upgraded from Ubuntu 10.04 to 10.10 today, and as part of the process I reinstalled NB 6.9.1 for C/C++. I used to be able to successfully pass in program arguments by setting the arguments in the project's run configuration and debug using these arguments. Now I am unable to pass in arguments to debug with (the program name is the only argument passed in).
I need to fix this soon, any ideas? |

Some Ubuntu(GDB7.2?) specific bug. You needs to file bug: http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/enter_bug.cgi |

Could someone please confirm or deny that passing debug arguments is not working in Maverick? If it's confirmed I'll file the bug. |

Thanks. As a workaround, is there an easy way to roll back to a previous gdb version in Ubuntu that you know of? |

For anyone else affected by this bug, you can download GDB 7.1 at http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid/gdb
Then go to Synaptic Package Manager and lock the version of gdb until the issue is resolved. |
