Hello,

I'm using Netbeans in a Mac and i'm a bit confused about how the Netbeans conector plugin works in PHP applications. In HTML5 is simple : when you edit and save a .htm file, Chrome refreshes it automatically, it's working.

But in a PHP app that uses routing classes, Chrome does not have a way to know the file i'm editing. For instance, in Chrome url bar i have this:

127.0.0.1/myapp

But actually the file that is routed to this is

/users/admin/myapp/controllername/index.php

So my question is : is there a way to Netbeans force Chrome to refresh the page in this scenario ?

I'm tired of hitting Command+R everytime :p

Thanks in advance !

Hi,

usually, after set in "Run Configuration" the Project URL, ex: http://mysite.local, i "run" the project on chrome with NB connector.

After this operation, the browser listen for every changes on the PHP file I'm working on, EVERY php file I'm working on; every time I save a php file, Chrome refresh the page.

If you need to check a specific page, I navigate to that page, than I work on PHP and browser refreshes on save.
