I am using Netbeans IDE 7.01. I have a JFrame that I added a JEditorPane to, I would like to set the editorKit to javax.swing.text.rtf.RTFEditorKit. How can I accomplish this with the Netbeans IDE.

When I go to the editorKit property of the JEditorPane, the only options I have is default or none. I tried entering this custom code (new javax.swing.text.rtf.RTFEditorKit()) but I get the error:

Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.RuntimeException: Uncompilable source code - Erroneous tree type: <any>
at teleprompter.Teleprompter.initComponents(
at teleprompter.Teleprompter.<init>(
at teleprompter.Teleprompter$

at java.awt.EventQueue.dispatchEventImpl(

at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForFilter(
at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEventsForHierarchy(
at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(
at java.awt.EventDispatchThread.pumpEvents(

I am sure the solution is simple, but I have been experimenting for a couple of hours and I can't figure it out.
